Every Christmas season, I spend at least one day shopping locally-made goods for friends and family. It's so important to me to support local artists, designers and independent stores in Seattle. Many of us get blinded by the steals and deals at larger retailers and forget that it's worth it to pay a bit more in support of the quality, craftsmanship and hard work that comes from our neighbors.
